Is Stress Overwhelming you??


I recently read an article on stress in industrialized nations and how it tends to eat us up as we can never get away from our work or business. With the Invention of the blackberry and so forth we are tied at the hip to all things in our life. Whether it is work, family, kids, stocks, email or what ever we are wanting to be connected with we feel this stress that can be all consuming.

So what do you do for stress and how to you manage the effects of it on your body? Some just ignore it. Well this may be a solution for the short term, but think about it stress works on our cells in our body either destroying them or aging them. We all need to have a defense against this dark power.

Start with water. Make sure you are fully hydrated this will aid in any other avenue that you take. Then I would suggest increase the Anti-oxidants that you are consuming. This can be as simple as a drink powder that you are adding to your water bottle or as sophisticated as organic foods high in these much needed nutrients. What ever choice you make, Make the choice to fight off these free radicals that will begin to taint your body.

Health and Wellness

Your health can be a challenging topic to cover. Just as each person is individual, so are their health needs. Some people wait till there is a challenge with their health before looking into what caused it or what can be done to deal with the issue.

I was one of these people. Just went through life believing that I would always be healthy. Always have the strength and endurance of youth. Well lets say that I still have some of that, but what I've found is that it isn't an option in todays world to not take proactive action to protect what we have.

In a search to find the missing elements in my life I went looking for answers with my doctors and people in my sphere of influence. You know what I found?? Everyone had a different solution that they believed worked for them. Not sure if you do, but I found this funny. Here we are all humans, and everyone I talked to had a new way, or at least their way.

So now that I was piled in options, I went through the process to see what was common among everyones solution. What I found was quite simple and it seems like a huge understatement but it's true.

Add to your life whats missing.

It was that simple. Yet I still wasn't that much further into finding what I was missing. So I took a long hard look into my life and realized that I was running my engine on empty all the time. Always just enough food to keep my from feeling hungry, just not the food to keep me fully energized and preventing future illness and injuries.

Now, I have a busy life. There are some that would say that reducing that could be the missing element. Truly I agree, and yet like most there are steps to be taken to make this a reality. For now I looked at what I was missing and nutrition was a big one. I went through and looked at the isles at my local drug store and truly just got lost in the maze of brands, types, advertisements and who wanted my dollar.
